In 2023 we will be able to offer transitional housing to aged-out of foster care youth, permanent housing to all, and homeownership to those precariously housed. We currently partner with The Detroit Land Bank Authority in District 4 of Detroit, as well as, Several Partners in District 1 of Pontiac.We look forward to sharing greater news as we reach our volunteer and funding goals
We provide structured, in depth, one on one mentorship for young men. We work closely with any other members of the young person’s support team to ensure effective continuity and quality of care. We also provide wrap around services, which means our services are available to members of the young person’s family/household. We do this because healing has to be holistic. If the entire environment does not change, success rates for the young person are low.
We believe that every young person is meant to be a leader, whether it be of others or simply of themself. We cultivate this character trait with a structured plan that addresses internal and external barriers, and provides opportunities for growth.
Our services are open to the young person's immediate household, so we naturally run into some areas we cannot directly cover. If that is the case, we are committed to connecting the need to a solution, and walking alongside the person as they navigate assistance outside of our program
We partner with Reach One Youth Organization, a fantastic program based out of Pontiac, to provide fitness coaching, athletics and more
Our board and staff are dedicated to serving every need of the community. We volunteer montly to cook and serve food to those in need at local churches and community centers. Volunteer opportunities available.
